LOUISE ELIZABETH EVANS
BSC, PGCE, MA ED (SEN), PGDIP DYSLEXIA, ATS, AMDBA.
I am a fully qualified specialist teacher accredited to provide dyslexia assessments and diagnoses for children of primary and secondary school age (from 8 years upwards). I hold Approved Dyslexia Teacher Status (ATS) and am an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA), giving me nationally recognised credentials as a Specialist Dyslexia Assessor. Additionally, I hold an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), which ensures my reports are valid for formal Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) applications.
With over 20 years of teaching experience across primary school age ranges, I have developed a deep understanding of how children learn. Alongside classroom teaching, I have worked closely with children with special educational needs (SEN) and their families in my role as a specialist teacher and dyslexia assessor. I have also supported university students eligible for DSA, providing guidance in study skills, organisation, and learning strategies to help them thrive in higher education.
I provide face-to-face dyslexia assessments throughout Cheshire and the surrounding areas, offering assessments within my home setting. I also offer assessments remotely for children ages 10 - 16 (UK based), providing a flexible and convenient service for all families.
I hold a current, enhanced DBS certificate, and my specialist qualifications are fully verifiable through the British Dyslexia Association.
