LOUISE ELIZABETH EVANS
BSC, PGCE PR/EYFS, MA EDUCATION (SEN), PGDIP DYSLEXIA, ATS, AMDBA.
I am a fully qualified specialist teacher accredited to provide dyslexia assessments and diagnoses for children of primary and secondary school age (from 7 years upwards). I hold Approved Dyslexia Teacher Status (ATS) and am an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA), giving me nationally recognised credentials as a Specialist Dyslexia Assessor. Additionally, I hold an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), which ensures my reports are valid for formal Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) applications.
With over 20 years of teaching experience across primary school age ranges, I have developed a deep understanding of how children learn. Alongside classroom teaching, I have worked closely with children with special educational needs (SEN) and their families in my role as a specialist teacher and dyslexia assessor. I have also supported university students eligible for DSA, providing guidance in study skills, organisation, and learning strategies to help them thrive in higher education.
I provide assessments throughout Cheshire and the surrounding areas, working with both state and independent schools, as well as offering assessments in my home setting. I hold a current, full DBS certificate, and my specialist qualifications are verifiable through the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).
